Technology Checklist for Graduating or Non-Returning Students

If you are graduating, or moving schools, here are a few tips on what to do with your Brearley | Google account. Please note below your access cut-off date. If you need access past this date, please contact your Division Head or Advisor.

Non-Returning students will have access to their account until August 31. 

Graduating Students will have access until January 21

What should I do before I lose access?

Account Verification Google Takeout Transfer Google Takeout Export

Verify that your Brearley email address is not linked to any personal websites, services or accounts. This can include and is not limited to social media, Amazon, transportation, flights, trips, Multi-Factor Authentication, etc.

If you wish to migrate your Brearley email and Drive data, you may do so with Google Takeout.

Brearley Devices for Non-Returning Students

If you are withdrawing before your graduating year, your device must be returned to the Technology Office in 610 | 2L or 590 | 1106W for their inspection before your last day at Brearley. You can find more information on how to prepare your device for return here.

Once the device is returned, our team will ensure the device is in good working condition and wipe all user data. Please note, deleted data cannot be retrieved.

  • Non-Returning students will have access to their account until August 31. 

  • Graduating Students will have access until January 15

• If a student requires access to email after this date, please notify your Advisor and Division Head.
• Ensure your account is no longer linked to any platforms or services such as social media, Amazon, transportation, flights, trips, Multi-Factor Authentication, etc.

• If you wish to migrate your Brearley email and Drive data, you may do so with Google Takeout.

Your Brearley | Google account allows access to multiple online services by using Google Single Sign-On (SSO). Once your account is terminated, you will lose access to the following platforms
