Removing Your Computer from Brearley Management

Graduating students are required to remove their computers from Brearley's device management. This is a two-step process, and we ask that you follow the instructions carefully and complete each step in a timely manner. Note: Instructions for Step 2 will be shared once you complete the form from Step 1.

Step 1 - Become an administrator

Important

Becoming an administrator gives you the ability to install and delete applications. Please be careful when making changes, especially while on the Brearley network. If you’re unsure about an app or have any questions, reach out to [e-mail] before proceeding.

1. Open Self Service+ and run the “Class 2026 Admin” script. If you do not see the script - please let us know by using this link

2. Go to System Settings > Users & Groups and confirm that your local account is now an Administrator.

   • If your account is not an Admin, contact the Tech Department immediately and wait until it’s resolved.

2. Once you’ve completed this step, fill out this form to confirm completion of Step 1.
