Step 2 - Profile Removal

  1. Confirm Local Admin Access

    Make sure you’re logged in as a local admin on your computer. If you’re not sure, reach out to us first.

  1. Wait for Remote Profile Removal

    Once confirmed, our team will remotely remove school management profiles from your device.

    Important: Leave your computer on and connected to the internet until it flashes or you receive a notification confirming the removal.

Remove the Management Framework Manually

After the profiles are removed, follow these steps

  1. Open the Terminal app: 
    • Press Command (⌘) + Spacebar 
    • Type Terminal and press Enter 
  2. Run the removal command: 
    • In Terminal, type: sudo jamf removeFramework
    • Enter your password
      • Note: You will not see any characters appear as you type your password — this is expected. Simply type your password and press Enter

  1. Confirm Removal

    • Go to System Settings > General > Device Management

    • It should say: No profiles installed

5. Submit this form whether or not any profiles were removed


Rejoin WiFi

You will need to manually reconnect to Brearley's WiFi. Follow these steps:

1. Select TBS-WiFi 

2. Go to System Settings > Network > WiFi > Details 

3. Switch Private Address from Rotating to Off
