The tech department has received multiple reports of users having “View Only” access on Microsoft O365 applications. If you experience this problem, please follow these steps to resolve it:
1. Click the Home button on the app’s menu bar
2. Click your profile icon on the upper left of the screen
3. Click “Sign Out”
4. A prompt will appear. Click “Sign out” once again.
5. Once you are signed out, completely quit the app by right-clicking on the app and clicking “Quit”
6. Reopen the app. Click “Activate” on the bottom left of the screen
7. A prompt will ask for login credentials. Input your Brearley email address and your AD password (this is the password you use to log in to your computer.) > Click “Sign in”
Please note
Once you have completed this on one app, it will automatically update on all Microsoft O365 apps. You will not have to complete this process more than once.
